1. Current website
The current LinkMyKin website provides information about a product that is still under development. The website may receive standard technical request information such as an IP address, browser type, request time, and requested page as part of normal web-server operation.
2. Future LinkMyKin services
When LinkMyKin services become available, they may process account details, family-tree information, relationships, invitations, application activity, and media submitted by authorised users. This notice will be updated before those features are made generally available.
3. Private family workspaces
Family trees are intended to be private workspaces accessible only to authorised members. Users should take particular care when adding information about living people or minors.
4. Media storage
LinkMyKin is designed so that uploaded images, documents, audio, and video can be stored in dedicated object storage rather than permanently on the main application server.
5. Sale of information
LinkMyKin does not intend to sell personal information or family-tree information.
6. Security
The service is being designed with encrypted connections, access controls, private database access, backups, audit records, and restricted media-storage permissions.
7. Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated as LinkMyKin develops. The date shown near the top of this page identifies the current version.
